Code of Ethics 3.0 Hours CE 

Every four years, members are required to attend an ethics seminar in accordance with Article IV section 15 of the by-laws. The purpose of this seminar is to instill an understanding of the Code of Ethics and how each of us can strive to conduct ourselves in a professional and ethic manner that will benefit our clients, customers and colleagues.

As a result of the class the students will be able to apply what they’ve learned to their everyday responsibilities in Real Estate while remaining in compliance to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association of Realtors.

Fair Housing   3.0 Hours CE

Anyone licensed who is actively working in the real estate field is required to take at least 3 hours of Fair Housing and Anti-discrimination coursework as part of the existing 22.5-hour requirement for real estate licensees.

Take an in depth look at fair housing laws and guidelines that all salespeople need to know. It separates fact from fiction and teaches agents how to avoid the pitfalls that turn their well intentioned actions into fines or worse. Review the testing methods used by HUD and learn how easy it is to become trapped in a fair housing action. It defines the meaning of discrimination pertaining to housing.

In this seminar, students will learn how to navigate the complex and confusing world of pre-foreclosure properties and become skilled with the use of the various forms and agreements used in successfully handling short sales. Learn about the foreclosure process from both the lenders’ and homeowners’ point of view; conventional non-foreclosure alternatives including pre-foreclosure sales and short sales; and how to correctly list and market these unique properties.
