New York’s Finest Real Estate Instructors are Teaching at Empire State Academy

  Ron Mazza Ron was employed by Wegmans for 18 years. Working in several departments during this time, he set up and implemented their apprentice training programs. Successfully completing Cornell University's J.I.T. program he became a "Certified J.I.T. (Job Instructional Techniques) Instructor" for Wegmans. In this position he trained department managers to become skilled trainers (he developed their "Train the Trainer" program). He subsequently held management positions (1971-1982), then held the Specialist/Supervisor position from 1982-1987. In 1987 Ron came to Nothnagle Realtors' Irondequoit Office. He achieved "top producer" status during 1989 and 1993 and became Sales Manager at the Webster Office in August 1994. During this time he developed the New Agent Training Program which was initiated in 1998.

   His most recent achievements are the development of the NYS approved continuing education  courses ”Fair Housing”, "Succeed  Now & Beyond”, “Myth vs. Reality” and ”Handling a Short Sale’. Ron also developed Nothnagle Realtors’ “Targeted Learning and Coaching” and “Fast Trac” training programs to assist agents at all levels of production in improving and growing their business through education. Ron has helped thousands of agents reach their career goals through his dynamic training sessions.

   Ron also holds certifications in:   Effective Communication, Effective Listening, Effective Interviewing, Property Management, Creative Finance, Appraisals and has obtained his ITI (Instructor Training Institute) certification from the NYSAR. He is also certified by the NYS Bureau of Educational Standards to teach real estate qualifying and continuing education classes.

  Jen Wimett Jennifer Wimett has been in the sales industry since 1995 and has many years of experience to add to the class room.  In Jen’s first year in real estate she was Rookie of the Year for The Women's Council of Realtors as well as Rookie of the Year for Nothnagle Realtors.  Since then she has consistently earned a spot as a gold club member for her company and has remained a top producer in her office.

Jennifer's love and passion for education led her to begin teaching in 2004 where she designed courses for community outreach programs and donated her time to teach for various organizations.  Her natural ability to enlighten paved the way to teach real estate professionals.

  Mike Noce Mike is a retired lab technician, having served 33.5 years at Delphi Automotive Corporation.  He has a passion for real estate because Mike truly loves the idea of helping people obtain the American Dream of home ownership. After all, our personal dwelling is truly the largest single investment most of us will ever make during our lifetimes, and Mike enjoys making a contribution towards making that dream a reality. Mike joined the ranks of real estate practitioners in 1998.

Mike was given an opportunity to field coach/mentor new agents a few years ago, and with that opportunity he new immediately that teaching would become his new career path. Mike possesses a genuine desire to help agents become the best they can be and to help them succeed in our business.

Mike says he has been blessed in his own career to have been mentored by many knowledgeable Realtors. His mission is simple: to give back what he has received.    Kirsten Luedke - Education Coordinator

  Kirsten received her real estate salesperson license in 2005, began working with newly licensed candidates at the training center for her broker in 2006, upgraded to an Associate Broker license in January 2008 and started ESA in August 2008. In starting the school, Kirsten turned her license in to the department of state (per state law she can no longer use her license while an Education Coordinator). Kirsten's goal is to be the most informed Education Coordinator in the state.
